The Murano turns heads with its suprising styling and design. Every body panel is distinctive including pronounced wheel arches, elegant triangular LED tail lights and a reprofiled tailgate. It also features innovative Scratch Guard Paint which combines a special highly elastic resin with a conventional clearcoat to increase the paint's flexibility and to provide protection to the inner paint layers.
The engine is a VQ 24-valve twin cam 3.5-litre V6 engine which now delivers 256 PS, 0-62 mph in 8 seconds, 25.9 mpg on the combined cycle, and its carbon dioxide emissions are 261 g/km. Also it's extensively re-engineered Xtronic CVT gearbox, has a 20 per cent reduction in friction improving fuel economy and shift speeds to give a more responsive feel.
The Murano's interior is altogether more cosseting experience with abundant use of high quality, soft touch materials and upholstery trimmed in charcoal or beige leather, double stitched for added exclusivity. Together with aluminium detailing and subtle ambient mood lighting, the cabin is now more luxury saloon than sporting SUV.
